O evento traz sempre expoentes de renome para discuss\u00e3o de temas relevantes da atualidade. A AULA MAGNA \u00e9 aberta a toda a comunidade acad\u00eamica da UFMG e tamb\u00e9m aos interessados de outras institui\u00e7\u00f5es e sociedade em geral. Ele obteve seu Ph.D. em conjunto pela Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo e pela Universidade de Nova York em 2005. Ap\u00f3s estudos de p\u00f3s-doutorado no Instituto La Jolla de 2006 a 2010, ele ingressou na Universidade Rockefeller como Professor Assistente em 2010. Em 2016, ele foi promovido a Professor Associado. Em 2021, ele foi promovido a Professor Titular e nomeado investigador do Howard Hughes Medical Institute. O Mucida Lab estuda como o sistema imunol\u00f3gico associado \u00e0s mucosas intestinais pode gerar respostas imunes eficientes sem comprometer sua toler\u00e2ncia a ant\u00edgenos in\u00f3cuos.
